Getting back into the swing of things...
last modified: Saturday, November 26, 2005 (10:31:04 PM)
I swear it's just been one thing after another to keep me from my beloved hobby. ^_^; Everything is starting to get back to normal around here, so hopefully I'll be able to pick up where I left off soon. My sister got married last October 22nd, and I was the 'Maid of Honor' in her wedding. Needless to say I was a big part of the whole process, so I made sure I was always there to help her whenever she needed me. Which happened to be quite often, since I lost count of how many bridal shows we attended. Anyway, I hope I won't have to attend another one for a very long time. Not to mention take on the costly role of a 'Maid of Honor' ever again. I could have bought an awesome Sesshy cel for the amount I spent on the Bridal Shower alone. My poor wallet... :( Oh well, it made her happy so it was all worth it in the end. ^-^ I'll be posting pictures of my sister's wedding in my LJ within the next few days. My username on there is: fairy_serenity
Among other things my family bought a Friesian horse that cost almost as much as my car when I bought it brand new. Insane I know, but then again I collect painted pieces of plastic so I guess I really shouldn't talk. XP lol He's a beautiful horse, but I still can't see paying that much for one. o_O His name is Boonse, and he was flown all the way from the Netherlands to California which is where we purchased him. Our horse has a passport, how freaky is that? ^-^
Well, I think I've rambled on long enough. I just wanted to post why I've been MIA for so long. As soon as I finish scanning/uploading all of my not so new additions I plan on selling some of my backgrounds that I can't use via my website. So please look forward to my future updates. ^_^

Hey Stacie and welcome back, well lets hope you have more money to spend on cels, sometime soon! ^_^ But it certainly sounds like you’ve been busy! It’s so cool that you helped organise such a wonderful time for your Sister, as I''m sure it was memorable event and one that she will cherish, so like you said, it’s definitely all worth it! But I hope her wedding went well too - as I gotta say, it’s one event in your life that you just want to run smoothly and perfectly, but congratulations to your sister.

And wow, you own a Friesian horse (they''re the black ones aren''t they?) I remember my friend telling me about them (she''s really into horses) but wow, they really are beautiful horses! (Almost on par with those cool mini horses…but not quite! Heheh ^__~)
And to think you got him imported all the way from the Netherlands with his own passport too, that''s so cool! You should get some pics of Boonse up!

Well I finally found where you moved your site too; it’s certainly looking at home at the new domain, so I did reply to your tag board in the end! Well enjoy your weekend!

Andy

Hey Andy! Long time no see. ^-^ Thanks for the welcome back. I was having some serious withdrawals from my hobby. I never would have imagined this hobby could be so addictive. ^_^
My sister''s wedding went very well. Which we were all grateful for. I didn''t trip walking down the aisle so that was a big plus, since I can be quite the klutz at times. ^_^; lol The reception went just as smoothly and the chocolate fountain we had was a big hit. It was quite messy, but oh so good! ^-^ Our guests kept coming up to us during the reception and telling us they thought the ceremony was beautiful. My sister was very pleased with the compliments, and I''m sure she''ll cherish every moment of her special day.
Yes, Friesian''s are the black horses with the long flowing mane and tail, and they have feathers on their feet. They have great personalities, they''re very affectionate and loving. They''re super smart and delight in pleasing their owners. A lot of people compare them to black lab dogs in personality and love of playing in water. I''ll be sure and get a picture of Boonse up on my website when I update it next.
I''m glad to see you found my website''s new domain. I''ll go reply to your message in my tag-board.

Take care,
Stacie
