RIP Snowball 3/24/89 - 5/24/09 last modified: Sunday, May 24, 2009 (12:36:50 PM) Our cat Snowball , our companion for the last 20 years passed away in Maria's arms this morning.
She lived a long an full life. WE will miss her.
Sorry to hear :(. Wow, 20 years though... that is a lovely, long time to have her. Must be hard when she''s been a part of your lives for so long ;_;. I''m sure you have a lot of wonderful memories to look back on over the years. Look after yourselves and take care..

I''m so, so sorry to hear this news Joe. The loss of a pet, no matter how old he or she is, is always hard. I have two cats myself, two lazy brothers who have been in my life for 14 years now and whom I love dearly. I can honestly say I dread the day that will inevitably come. I wish you and Maria strength for the time to come Joe, and hopefully soon the hurting will pass into happy memories only. *hugs* Wendy

I''m so sorry to hear about this Joe. I remember all the stories you told about Snowball. I''m still amazed at how long she lived. It''s incredible. It really speaks to what a wonderful home you gave her. It''s never easy losing a pet let alone one you''ve had for such a very longtime. I''m here if you need anything. *hugs

I am so sorry for your loss. But, really, when they do go, at home and in your arms is the best way. Snowball was so fortunate to have such loving parents.

Awww Joe. My heart is breaking. Snowball was such a sweetheart. Having had 3 very old cats pass away in the last year or two, I know just how very sad it is. But how wonderful that she was with Maria at the end. I''m sure she knew how much you both loved her. Many hugs. Kay

She was such a cutie and sweetheart -- I loved how she swooshed her tail around the legs when I got to meet her. Such a sweet and lovely cat. As everyone else mentioned, 20 years is a long time for a pet to live and reflects how much love and care she received. I can imagine how hard it is right now because she was a member of the family, but once the hurt passes you two can smile and remember all the great joys and moments you all shared together. *huggles*
It''s always tough losing a pet especially one that''s been with you for so long is is essentially a member of the family. I''m sorry for your loss. My best wishes to you both,
