New Celutions last modified: Sunday, January 01, 2006 (9:11:09 PM) Anyone have any New Year's Resolutions that are cel-related?
I have one, a BIG one. Well, more of a plan and determination than anything. ^__^ I'm gonna save up for my ultimate dream cel. I need $5K to get it. Even with the money, there's no guarantee that the current owner in Japan will sell. However, I'm hoping he (or she) will if I dangle 5K in front of them! If and when I get this cel, I'll be one happy collector and will most likely retire. Go out with a bang I say. But until then, the hunt continues and the journey never ends. *** I have a feeling 2006 will be an excellent year. I'll be moving out and starting pharmacy school! Look, ma, I'm all grown up! She mumbles to herself, 'About time, woman is almost 26!' o_o

I hope that you are able to achieve your goal, but I must say that I''d be sad to see you leave cel collecting. If you get your dream cel (which I hope you''ll tell us what it is!), will you stay in the online community?

if you can save up that much, then you''re doing better then us other junkies. heh. that''d be cool if you could pry it away. is there a link to the persons gallery? i have to agree with rei, that if you do retire to still talk in the community.
Unfortunately, this person doesn''t have a gallery. I know of him from another RS member, so in actuality, I know nothing except that the cel exists and that Link can help me. I will never ''retire,'' just vacation for a looooong time. :P There''s just too much fun and laughs to stay away for long. ^_~
Hey, I didn''t move out until I was 26, so don''t feel alone in that department. Whatever you do, don''t get a roomate. If you have to, make sure it is someone who is the opposite of you. There is nothing more annoying than confronting yourself for the 12 month term of a lease. Congrats, rhey. I also believe 2006 will be a fine year.
Heh. I don''t really have an "ultimate" cel. But hopefully you''ll be able to pry the lovely out of the Japanese collector''s hands. Congrats on moving out, too! The way things are going, I don''t think I could stand living with my parents for another seven years . . . We''d all go insane. ^_^ |
