Video Commentary...of My Cels?? last modified: Tuesday, January 17, 2012 (6:30:40 AM) Wow! Guess it's been a really long time since I've posted anything here...heh
Last night I was really bored and while aimlessly surfing the Internet, I came upon a video of someone geeking out at Nakano Broadway, namely filming some cels at Mandarake. Anyway that got me to thinking, maybe it would be fun to video flipping through some of my own cel books to show friends. Of course, rubberslug is here for all of us to post nice scans and such of them, but maybe it'd be fun to put in a little commentary, too! Plus, it's interesting to see the physical aspect of the cels, how they're kept, etc. I was just getting used to filming at the end, but still I'm not the best commentator, sorry! I tend to forget names of characters and call them all Teppei!! Granted, many characters I collect start with 'T' but... What a good idea! I''ll have to watch this later (youtube is blocked at work), but it is an interesting way to share your actual cel books with people, rather than just scans. Live commentary is a fascinating idea, too! :)

Sorry I''ve been nonexistent for so long. :( hope you both are doing well! :D There''s nothing special with the videos, just me geeking out and sounding funny. I''ve never recorded my voice for the world to hear before. lol But I''m glad you enjoyed a little, if not my silly comments (and calling every character "Teppei") then maybe you''ll like seeing my cat sticking her head in every now and then. That''s cool. B''t X is a very pretty show, and it was interesting to see the clear sections of your Samurai Trooper/Ronin Warriors OVA cels. One small thing, I think your Shuutendouji cel is Utsunomiko. I''d have let you know by feedback, but I know feedback isn’t working for everybody. Also, that''s a great new Ogre Slayer cel!
Oh, and your newly added unknown cel (http://rekka.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv_info.asp?ItemID=342486) is Galus from El Hazard.
