Sequences... last modified: Monday, September 19, 2005 (3:03:34 PM) I own quite a few cels from the same sequences, but I find it odd that I want more. Recently a cel of sakura's mom popped up with the sakura layer on yj and I'm contemplating bidding for it. I really just want the sakura layer because I have two layers of just the mom. I wonder if it's odd that I want the sakura layer so badly. It's not even that great of a layer it's just that the cel is missing something and I think that the sakura layer would make it really cool. I'm a weird >_~

I dun think its weird at all. Personally I''d love to get the Siao Wong cel that goes along with one of my cels of Gene Starwind. It wouldn''t be an OMG! awesome cel of Siao, but it would compelete the image a lil more. ^_^ So if you''re weird, then so am I! *looks around, thinks a bit* Ya know, that doesn''t help much with the weird thing. ;-P
I don''t see anything wrong in wanting to complete a cel setup. On the other hand, it kind of bugs me when people have more than one of the same layer. ''Course, I can''t talk, as I have five of one layer from a sequence (Ranma-chan) but my rational there is that the shots are pretty much worthless by themselves. But when you put them all together, it''s really cool--or at least, I think so. Other than that, I like each cel to have a completely different image. That''s just the way I collect. But I can totally see wanting to complete a setup--they just look so great all put together. If it were me and I decided to go for the cel on YJ, I would sell at least one of my other Nadeshiko layers, especially considering the fact that she is such a rare character. Who knows whose day you''d make? ^_~ But bottom line is that it''s your collection, so do what you want with it. That''s just what I would do. BTW, I''m not sure if you know this, but the cel on YJ only has a copy of the Sakura (A) layer. Plus, it looks like if you did win, you''d end up with two more of the Nadeshiko layer--B9 and B20. Soooo, I don''t know. It depends on if you are satisfied with one layer being a copy. Some people are, and some aren''t. It still looks nice, though. ^_^
Buy what you want, and damn the rest! XD BTW, the bunny is so darned CUTE!!!! ...looks like (s)he''s sitting in a bunch of Crunch '' n Munch though... ~_^ |
