My doggy was eating bunnies... last modified: Thursday, July 28, 2005 (4:32:54 PM) So my dog is really old and slow and stuff, so bunnies like sit on him and run around him and he kind of opens his mouth to bark at them, so I guess they dug a burrow in our backyard cause my dog found it and was digging up out backyard (while laying down of course) and he was eating something and I see his swing something into his mouth and eat it in one gulp. So I was like I better go check it out. I go out there and he runs to me and I go see what he dug up, apparently there were multiple dead baby bunnies, so I dragged him away. If there wasn't an overpopulation of bunnies, maybe I would have done something about it but I still felt really bad for baby bunnies -_-

At first I thought "peeps"! :D But then I read it, and remembered a time (yeah, let''s hit the Wayback machine!) I had to put a pet rabbit to sleep. I was staying with my parents for the summer while I was in college, and their cat got a baby bunny from the back woods and brought it back for me. But apparently it gave him some trouble getting it to the house for me because it was dead. >< Just remember your dog wasn''t being malicious. :)
Wah!!! Poor bunnies! *cries* But, Leah is right ... no malicious intent on your dog''s part. That''s just the way critters are. Still ... Wah! Poor bunnies!!! *cries some more* |
