Deputy turnover time
last modified: Sunday, July 24, 2005 (12:12:00 PM)
So I'm not sure when to have my package shipped out. Because I'm trying to take a break, and all my auctions have ended, but I don't know if they're all received. It'd be pretty crappy if I had them sent out and I was missing one or two...what's a normal turnover time anyways? Should I wait out a week from my last auction or longer? Ah!!! What is a deputy's turnover time?

Some sellers can take a long time to ship things to the deputy service. One of my last auction wins to arrive took a little over a month to get to the deputy''s warehouse in Japan. I kept thinking those cels (a lot of 3 Nightwalker cels) were lost to me for forever, but several folks assured me it wasn''t uncommon for a YJ seller to take that long in shipping. And, sure enough, they showed up in due time. Of course, by then, I had bid on and won more stuff ... so now I''m still waiting for everything to come in so that I can get it all shipped! It''s a vicious, never-ending cycle, I tell ''ya! Oh, sure, if I could stop bidding on stuff ... but what are the chances of that happening? >_<

This is for Rinkya, right? Just check your bid history. The way I do it (there might be an easier way, but I don''t know) is to:
1. Click on "FAQ"
2. Choose the question that says "How do I know if my items have arrived in Japan?"
3. The answer will have an explanation with a link to your bid history, click on it.
4. Sign in
5. On the left, you will have several options, including "bid history." Click on it.
6. Sign in yet again.
This should get you to a page that shows the status of all of your auctions, along with codes as to where the items are. I believe jpseller means Rinkya hasn''t got it yet, and jprinkya means they have. If you''re switching services, just wait for them all to arrive at the Japanese office, then request shipment. ^-^ I hope that helps. Let me know if your talking about Celga or SMJ, I can help with those, too. (I''ve tried all three).> BTW, there might be an easier way of getting to your bid history, but that''s how I always do it. I''m actually waiting for one last item to come in before I say goodbye forever to Rinkya and their exorbant fees.

I usually let it all sit there until the dep decides it''s time. They then pack it, ship it, and bill my credit card. Usually ends up being once a month or two months, depends on my buying sprees. ~_^
