Fireflies last modified: Wednesday, July 13, 2005 (8:36:03 PM) I know they're an anime cliche, but damn, it's been a summer for fireflies! I don't think I've ever seen anything like it before. I almost feel guilty driving down our road, they don't fly very fast and I feel like I'm wiping out hundreds at a time. But if you just look into the trees and bushes it's like someone strung fairy lights up in them....just lovely.
Waaaa!! I love fireflies!! Theyre soo cute! Probably 1 of the very few bugs I can stand w/o wanting to go EEP and squish them within seconds! XD I love gathering a bunch in my hand and then releasing them! It feels like you are shooting out fireworks from outta your hands! lol
They''re all over the place in my neighborhood :) So pretty!
We don''t have fireflies out here, and I miss them. *sniff* :( Enjoy them for me too! :D |
