I Am a Carrier last modified: Monday, September 26, 2005 (1:46:47 AM) Yes, I carry a deadly disease that has been spreading rampantly throughout the anime community. The disease has infected me, and I also became a carrier tonight. That's right, tonight I carried my Bleach VCDs over to my parents' house and delivered the first six episodes to my sisters.
They are in danger of becoming addicted already. Actually, I told them that I probably couldn't bring the rest of the episodes over, since I discovered that only three will fit on a CD, and I do not have a DVD burner. But . . . my sister offered to buy me a pack of CDs just so that I can burn the rest of the episodes for her. XD I am slowly but surely spreading the addiction.
Sadly, though, they're going to have to watch them on the computer like everyone else. My sis got a new DVD player that is supposed to play every kind of video imaginable, including DivX, etc. We popped the CD in, and while it did play, the sound gave off some horrible feedback, especially when people were yelling. Not the best setup for Bleach. XP It's sad, because I was really looking forward to watching it on TV.
As far as cels go, I've been doing nothing but losing auctions lately. I've got a cel ending on Ebay in nine days, but I've got no money. It's a major wishlist. Seriously, I've seen this exact cel end three separate times, all at a little higher than I was willing to pay. But I'm familiar with the seller, and I know he always relists at a lower price. Heck, I even got up at 4am one day to watch it end and make sure no one bid on it. Then came nearly a month of no relisting. I was scared that I'd never see it again, and I looked for it every day on ebay. Finally, it was relisted, but someone's bid on it already. I want it, but I am so broke!! I really need to get used to living on a school time budget, since I can't work that many hours while attending classes. Ugh, what's a girl to do?! I guess we'll find out in nine days.
