Newbie's quick thoughts last modified: Wednesday, May 25, 2005 (2:09:48 AM) Oh wow, I can see that I've been sucked into a world that threatens to seriously deplete my bank account. Maybe I should have waited until graduating from college and getting a secure job . . . Oh well, it looks like this is going to be one heck of a ride. This is my first website, too. So in the past few days, I've learned how to resize pictures. Never needed to know that before.
Well, take a look around and let me know what you think. I actually have a couple more Esca cels, a Ranma cel, a Slayers cel, a whole lot of Clamp Campus Cels, and a couple new series on the way to my home as I type. I also have an enormous amount of sketches waiting to be uploaded. Besides that, I really need to fill out my wishlist. It promises to be a really expensive one, too. Almost all of my favorite characters always turn out to be the most expensive cels. Got any suggestions for my gallery? Let me know.

Yep, yep, never been poorer, but never been happier! And it''s all very portable! Not heavy and bulky like manga and DVD''s (although I have a ton of both of those too...). Poor but happy, yes indeed...! Hey! Great gallery!!! You''re off to an excellent start! And I LOVE all the comments! My husband has a fascist control of our air conditioning too, but I haven''t noticed any benefits with getting sketches off my cels... ~_^ Welcome and enjoy your stay!!! Oh, yeah ... your pockets will now be forever empty, and your wallet will scream and bleed. Don''t worry about starting off as a "poor college student" --- it would be the same way, even if you were done with school and had a high-paying job. The cels suck all the money out of your life. But, that''s OK ... they replace it with joy. ^_~ Hope you have a great time in this hobby, and I second the others --- you''ll meet some absolutely wonderful people, which makes it all tons more fun. I love your gallery, by the way! The color scheme you''ve chosen is really beautiful, and your collection is awesome! I especially love your Ranma and Marmalade Boy cels! Two of my favorite shows! Dismiss your thoughts that you should have waited till you graduated from college to start collecting. I had the same apprehensions until I offered up my wallet to the cel gods and spilled many a sacrificial dollar, then there was no turning back! Seriously though, your collection''s off to a great start and I certainly look forward to your updates. |
