More cels the next couple of weeks last modified: Wednesday, October 07, 2015 (4:04:08 AM) I've got some Marmalade Boy (Miki, Yuu, Meiko, Arimi, Suzu) on the way. Also more My Little Pony Tales, Tenchi Muyo settei, GXP genga, and PPGZ settei.

I don't know what's going on, on the edges of these cels, but I hope it's not "oxidation smell". I'll keep them separate from the others.
From the translation that google gave me this is a typical description that you would see on a piece that has line fading. As you can see from the scans there is some typical Toei line fading, so that is probably what they mean when they say there is pain. I might see some cel mildew/dirt as well but that is usually hard to see on scans. When you look at them pay attention to the corners because that is where the mildew/dirt usually show up the most.

And on that second one, click on the image of Arimi and Yuu and look on the right side of it. That scared me off. I don''t what was going on, but I wouldn''t put that anywhere near other cels if that was mine.

Since the oversized cels I''ve been using Windows Photo Gallery to make panoramas of multiple images stitched together. So now I can scan cels larger than my scanner. I''ll update some of the others when I get time. The 2 batches of Powerpuff Girls Z settei are named after the auctions they came from, "1" and "III". I can''t afford the other $250 of settei right now. I''m thinking about getting another one though because these ones don''t have Rowdyruff Boys or Him. |
