Another day in the life of... last modified: Wednesday, August 31, 2005 (12:39:35 AM) A delivery from UPS made my day - a wishlist cel of InuYasha that I've wanted for a long time. JWR is to thank for this. Which brings up a question - any wishlist cels/sketches/etc. come true for you? @:o) <--Elvis! Details would be oh so good!
Non-related RS fluff: I wish my mom were here...*sigh* She passed away eight years ago and was our resident interior decorator. My dad had a gut full of our crappy linoleum and ripped up the kitchen floor. Guess who had to pick out tile??? *raises a hand* Ugh, what a pain. We must have visited every home improvement store along the Wasatch Front trying to find something we liked. He's going fishing in Alaska this weekend, and I'm glad too, because then I get to do some house renovations without him breathing down my neck.
I can relate with you on the domestic front. Home improvements can be so tiring. I am currently working on my house and it''s a bit of a nightmare. Everytime we think something will be simple and quick, but it never is! Easy jobs become complicated. I drag my husband everywhere, looking for the right color flooring. Now, we are obsessed with the stuff. Everywhere we go, we stare at the floors and analyze. O.O Hope your adventures in home improvement go smoothly. :) Sorry to hear about your mom. *big hugs* Take care sweetie.
Nope, never gotten what I''d consider a "wishlist." Of course, my wishlist is very broad--I''m not really sure what I want until I see it. :P Either that, or they''re all cels I couldn''t afford even if they did pop up. But congrats on your snag!! It looks like your wishlist did pay off, even if mine doesn''t. XD
