It’s happy cel/sketch day!

The first being Galaxy Railways, I never thought I’d see sketches for those. I’m so happy because even if I am a fan of Leiji Matsumoto’s works before, it’s been so long ago and I’ll admit it’s a very faint memory watching Yamato, Galaxy Express 999 and Captain Harlock. I’ve always wanted to collect something from Leiji and maybe I might dive in for Yamato, but right now the dearest to my heart is Galaxy Railways.

I also have put up some Princess Nine cels. I really like those cels because they came to me complete or at least most did. X-D

But ah… Well my penny pinching has paid off and I finally got a dream cel in my hands. Ummmm yep did I mention it’s Saitou? Am I cursed or what? If you only knew how many cels I had to pass up… Booo…. But eh.. *smiles* It’s a wishlist ya know? I really loved the DC even if it’s just 5 minutes more of my favorite RK character. Those were very precious moments. In my excitement I wrote up a long and rambling comment.. Eheheheeh! ^__^***

I'm very sorry I'm lagging behind on other series comments tho. I seem to be scanning faster lately. Boo....

I too am a huge fan of Leiji Matsumoto. It''s unusual to find non-Japanese fans or collectors of his works. Very cool!

Congratulations on saving up for the wishlist! They really make this hobby worthwhile.

Oh that''s great. I remember the early 80s was when I first watched Battleship Yamato. Nowadays I try to show it to a few of my friends but sadly the art looks foreign to them, but me I think it looks awesome. I''m going to try to grab me dvds of his works because it''s been a long time since I''ve seen them although I think all I can get is Starblazers. I don''t think the others have been released on DVD have they? And I don''t know if they''re still available on movielink.com.

Well the saving was more of passing up on other things to buy and some home-made lunches. Money not spent is money saved? Maybe? ^__^

OOOOOH! Fantastic new Saito cel. Gorgeous, gorgeous. And, I love those new Galaxy Railways sketches. Such beautiful, delicate artwork. Congrats on adding a wishlist to your gallery. WC is so right -- it''s those wishlist/dreamcel thrill moments that make this hobby oh-so-worth it! ^.^

Thanks tex-chan! Yep I so love Galaxy Railways, it''s a total experience for me actually so eventhough I love the artwork I like the anime as a whole. As for that wishlist... LOL... Well it was a nightmare for me too just looking and looking and praying I can get to it on time. It was so worth it though. :)
