Bunny On The Moon Cels
Chronicle:Galactic Domination

New Layout/Graphics and more cels added
last modified: Wednesday, February 25, 2009 (8:13:15 PM)
Well, I figured it was about time I add some cels here. So far Momoka from Daa Daa Daa and the luckiest Captain this side of the Milky Way have made their appearance ^_^ I'll be adding a CCS cel, and maybe some more tonight as well.

I have a new series that I'll be adding to the gallery soon. It's right up there with Sailor Moon and Captain Tylor for me ^_^. The new graphics are in tribute to that. Well, that and the fact that if I really still had my Christmas stuff up IRL, someone would have probably gone ninja on me and removed it anyways. So I figured it was the perfect chance to get something more spring-oriented up.
The background was switched up a bit so that it was more like a summer sky. For those that wonder why the banner image is so dark, I was trying to go for the silhouette look. I plan on adding one more SD graphic within the next week or so to complete the look. ^_^ Hopefully ya'll find the SD characters on the subpage banner as cute as I do. ^_^ Enjoy

Cute subpage banner (I love the Slayers characters, too), but the main banner needs a star or maybe a lovely "fingernail paring" new moon like the one I saw last night with Venus up above it. Or maybe a shooting star for the character to wish on. Just some ideas.

Lessee: Syaoran doing his Sword-summoning bank in a blue shirt with a red vest. That''s gotta be Ep. 27 (The Shrine of Memories).

Yep: that''s where it is: here''s a close screen cap:

One thing that makes it relatively easy to locate cels'' context in CCS is the surprising diversity of outfits the characters wear. By contrast, characters in most other series wear the same outfits episode after episode, but in this one there''s usually only one scene in which "blue shirt/red vest" appears. And if you have the art books with a gallery of caps from each episode, then it''s duck soup.

Interesting that the cel you have seems to have two arms on the left, as if there was a base layer for Syaoran''s face and body and another for the arm and amulet, and maybe two of these stuck together. It''s not obtrusive, though, or maybe it was a way of speeding up the sense of motion.

I really like Naozumi''s eyes: lots of depth and color. A great update.

Birds are on the move, so someone knows something about where Spring is.
