After buying photocopies on Mandrake for $70.00 I learned about genga/sketches. After buying 20 auctions from the same seller on Yahoo! Japan, I learned that not all seller will combine shipping-or wire fees (dear god, that hurt)! I've also learned that just because a cel is cheap doesn't mean it will grant you eternal happiness (did I HONESTLY ever think so?!). :) Online friends are WONDERFUL *oh wait-I already knew that. Oh yah! And you can welcome someone back...who never left! I suppose it's all in what you say...not what you do...that counts in the cyber-world. You can spend a fortune in very little time. Just close your eyes and it's *one click* (auction), *two clicks* (place bid), *three clicks* (CONFIRM)......and you're all done. Yes, well...I still haven't gotten over my ability to search in the adult section...and found some fun little Fencer of Minerva cels while I was there! Very very happy...and anxious to bring them home! Still trying to find a way to put the adult items on my site w/o offending anyone...ideas anyone??? marie:) fetish4minx
heehee. I enjoyed reading this. :) So, I suppose the expensive cels don''t grant eternal happiness either? Damn. I was so hoping! I''d say put the adult items in the "private" section. That way only those who are interested could ask you for the password, and you could make sure they know what they are asking for.
Can''t wait for your next updates! *eagerly waits* ^_^ Maybe you could put ''18+'' on the section? I think some users may find it easier to just click instead of awaiting a reply... I''m not that sure, but I know a friend who had the same problem. They had a nice cel, but they didn''t know if it was offensive or not in any way. They just put the ''18+'' sign next to the section and so whoever wanted to go and see it did. It had a lot of blood and gore and stuff, y''see. ^^;;
I would add an "18+ ONLY" section. Also, it might be best not to use thumbnails for these cels. Just in case some under-age folk wander by. Actually having to click on each link might deter them a *little* bit. ^_^
I can''t add the password protect...I keep too much personal information in the password sections...however...I like the 18+ and taking away the thumbnail. Thanks for the tips everyone! |
