Soothing...random post:

It is amazing how much music helps at work. Our office has this horrible radio station and I finally got the radio moved away from my desk. But now I need to drown out my annoying co-worker. So at first I tried listening to the Alternative and Rock I love but this would only pump me up to have more livid arguments. This weekend I bought a classical CD set with Bach, Beethoven and Mozart. I had forgotten how lovely some of the classical songs can be. Really relaxing and gets me through the day without biting anyone's head off. Sort of makes me want to play piano again.

Do you listen to anything at work? What?

i listen to music all the time i .if im working on a project i tend to listen to music that fits the mood i have in mind mostly though i listen to my vast cd collection of every type of music except classicaal which will forever make me think of my dad and country.

I can not listen to music while at work.. I listen to customers all day. :( Sometimes it is good music to my ears... sometimes it is not. @_@ haha

Cool question! It''s neat to hear what other people listen to at work. I''m in a pretty non traditional situation of being plugged in all day long, which is sort of a blessing and a curse. Because of this, even a full 6 gig MP3 player can get old after just a few days. I tend to go through phases. Some weeks I''m all about talk radio, other weeks I find a cool new band and go nuts listening to them on imeem.com, sometimes I''m like you buttrflym and get super into classical or even jazz. I''ve listened to books on tape (Just finished the final Harry Potter Book) but lately I''m getting into listening to stand-up comedy cds while at work. I think right now I''ve got Eddie Izzard and some Jay Mohr in the case, ready for tomorrow. Heh. Even with all this, there are days I just don''t listen at all and become the annoying coworker who just wants to gab. LOL. That''s probably why they keep bringing me new audio books to listen to..hmmm.
