Japan: Cake
last modified: Thursday, June 21, 2007 (3:49:57 AM)
Hi,
First blog from Japan. Been here about two months and only am now writing anything. I am just never in the mood. Now strangely enough, the first thing I am going to blog about is the pastries here.

When I used to watch Sailor Moon the desserts always looked so amazing and I didn't think they were real. Well, I have found out they are! There are baked good shops every where and I am not lying when I say they have some of the best desserts I have ever had. I even found a shop that sells cake that tastes exactly like my wedding cake! My husband will be so surprised when he gets back.

But seriously, I totally thought I would lose weight becuase I pretty much hate the rest of the food but the cakes... Sigh, looks like I will have to hit the gym more than I want to. :D

Cake....

HAHAHA THere was a japanese shop near by my house and they imported alot of cakes from Japan. THEY WERE SO GOOD!! Alot of them were not freshly made from a bakery but packaged which you would think... eww... but no! They were refridgerated so they were semi fresh and 550 calories for a little cake... so good... best cake i have ever had!

Also, if you can find one of these:

They are real? Man, now I''m hungry. I want to eat one of those layer cakes with strawberries! Preferably after a dinner of hamburger with a flower-shaped egg on top.
