Big fire make big smoke-equals bad air

Dont know how many of you are here in Cali or even close enough to know. But I heard there was a couple huge fires up in the forests today.

Some 100s of miles away from where i live. Well when i woke up this morning everything seemed fine. I walked out into the garage and smelled smoke. I looked around(nose plugged) and couldnt find anything. Figured it was the dryer or something...

Then when i went off to school it looked foggy...ooh that wasnt fog it was smoke. Then my dad enlightened me that there were two big fires blowing smoke into the valley and it was staying here.

And the fire department kept getting calls of possible fires. So they alerted everyone that it was smoke from the fires in the mountains via a new TV warning which i missed...

It was bad couldnt breathe very well walking from class to class but it seems to have dissapeared now...

So wondered if anyone else had this kind of experience today?
