$1 Walmart DVD's + Me = *lmao* last modified: Wednesday, September 28, 2005 (8:09:30 PM) I'm awful. I was at the big W tonight, when I spotted on the $1 DVD rack some "anime" DVD's. In all, I picked up 5 titles, including Kimba and a title called "Beauty and Warrior". What's so funny about it though is the 3 mecha disks that I picked up. These are Korean anime, which borrows heavily from Japanese anime. A quick search of the titles brought up some of the funniest stuff I've ever read.
Protectors of Universe http://www.collectiondx.com/feature.asp?ID=194 So far, this is the only one that I've seen anything of so far, so it's the only one I'm going to comment on. This has to be the worst dub in existance. I will never, ever complain about dubs for the rest of my life as long as I don't have to hear a dub as bad as this one again. I would think that I'll probably be hearing just as bad with the other disks, though. And yes, it does sound like one person is doing all of the male voices. i have the defenders and the protectors discs, they are so bad they are funny, "borrow" is a loose word for them some of the scenes were traced and recolored. |
