Outrageous Pan Cels last modified: Sunday, February 10, 2008 (8:18:18 AM) After working for many days in my spare time, I finally completed work on my 3 big Cyber Team in Akihabara Hatoko Pan Cels. Hatoko is the epitome of Idol Singer chic! Please check out my efforts. Also on the top of the page for the CTA Friends and Enemies section is a Youtube clip which shows how the pan cels appeared in the show.
BTW, the gallery has been decorated for the last few weeks in full Valentine splendor. Featured on the main page are a few of our favorite "couple" cels along with a cel of the Daichis from Earth Defense Family under a "Love Attack".
Wow! Those pan cels are fantastic! And, you did such a great job with scanning and putting them together, too. I love the V-day layout!! Congrats on your new additions, which are spectacular, as always. *hugs*
I always love checking out your CTA collection. ^_^ Those three are no exception - each are stunning! It''s nice to see her in different positions like that.
Nice job! I know how difficult these long, thin cels can be to scan and paste back together! The background is just right. And the YouTube add-on is also a great touch. While I don''t know CTA at all, you make a fine case for its art.
Pan cels can be such a pain to scan. But they look wonderful, so in the end all the work is worth it! :) I especially like the one of her from behind - I''m not sure why, but it is my favorite of the three.
Thank you for checking out our Hatokos. The job was definitely trickier than usual because I was determined to get all three entered together. The Photoshopped background was my best approximation to the original. I decided against having a dark-to-light gradation in favor of the spot-light look in order to give her feet a "floor" to stand on. I''m pretty happy with the final result. Tex-chan- You are so sweet! Thanks once again for the compliments. (^_^) Syan- Thanks! The artwork for CTA is a bit over-the-top. I especially like the villains in the series although we happily collect everybody. Sensei- There wasn''t a lot of CTA available on youtube except for beginning and end, but I really lucked out finding that Hatoko clip! I watched the series a while ago, but I am going to have to re-watch it again soon in order to gather info on more recent additions to the collection. Miss Z- I agree, it is unusual to get an interesting back view, and this one is really wonderfully posed. I really like it a lot too! |
