updates but, no cels last modified: Monday, January 24, 2005 (8:44:07 PM) So I've been busy lately doing some much need site maintenance. Which includes updating the about page to contain current information, removing old sold cels, cleaning up the wishlist (taking off the things we've obtained recently) a little misc. stuff. The most noticible thing I've done though is probably change the layout. Our current layout is now taken from our two Sailor Moon hankens (although chibi chibi hasn't made it into the gallery yet). I'm thinking of potentially changing the thumbnails to go along with the new layout but, I'm not sure how I want to go about it and overall it seems like a big pain in my butt. Especially considering that if I change the layout again, I'll have to change them all.
I know we have at least one postive reaction to the new layout (THANK YOU!) Are there any negative ones? Anything I should do to improve. I won't necessarily do it but, it would be nice to know. ^_^ I'm still hoping to update soon but, our scanner isn't working so that's not happening until we buy a new one. >_<. ~ Stephanie
Awwww...clever bunnies. Er...kiddos...er..ladies. Oh fine, buddies :) Awesome redesign, I love it. You guys are quite clever and I never thought to use the frames like that to continue the main banner down coherently. I''ll have to trick that out on my next redesign...and give you guys credit, of course :) Amazing gallery as always you too...I''ve been going into Jen and Steph withdrawals the past few months...I always say it but it''s true, it really is good to see you guys, even for a few moments. Kewl as always...
I love the new layout!! I especially like the color combos you used, and the banner on the front page. The chibi chibi banner at the bottom is adorable, too. The gallery has a very nice, cohesive look to it, and the colors make it extremely enjoyable to browse through. Good luck if you decide to change the thumbnails. I''m going through that hellish torture right now. I''m a bit over halfway done, but I''m starting to think I lost my mind when I decided to do this crazy project!
Stephanie, I must say that I actually liked your Last Unicorn layout better...but that''s just me. Your new SM hanken layout is colorful and nice in its own way. But if you''re going to keep it, I would definitely change all the font colors to match. And maybe not use a colored background. I''m no expert in webdesign, though! ^^; And yes, I agree that changing *all* the thumbnails would be quite a pain! Good luck fixing your scanner!!!! ~~Brenda |
