No I don't mean I hate David Bowie, I liked his Ziggy Era actually. I mean the ziggy infamous to all Mezzo collectors everywhere! I got outbid this morning becasue I wasn't watching an auction there' was less than a half hour left and no bids and Ziggy creeped up and outbid me. Worse yet, it wasn't a mezzo cel (you expect him to be haning around Mezzo cels like vulture and I've been outbid by him before in the mezzo arena) But, it was a Kite cel...in all my years of collecting Kite I've never seen him go after a Kite cel I wanted! So WTF? Damn you Ziggy can't you go back to bothering the mezzo collectors? They at least expect you...this was out of the blue for me...*sniffle* Noteably I shouldn't be bidding on ANYTHING so it may be for the best I got outbid but, still...damn you Ziggy! Damn you! Not to mention if any other Kite cels I want pop up that means there is always a chance that someday Ziggy will rear his ugly head and bottomless pockets again and I'll be helpless...'tis a sad sad day... ~Stephanie

Hey, us Mezzo/Umetsu collectors don''t to see Ziggy around at all! Sorry to hear about your loss, but I guess that since you didn''t hve the item in the first place, you didn''t truely loose ;) Was it the underage Sawa lying back on the bed? If so, I''m sure there''s more from that sequence because they''ve popped up before. You may get another chance. Ziggy''s quite an avid collector of KITE cels too, I''ve been outbid by him several times over the last year. If there''s a setup with background, he''ll definately be sniffing around. Shame. (And the letter Z is the finest mmeber of the alphabet although there is always Q) And Krafty it was actually the shot of her laying in bed after the explosion has thrown her, that young sawa at $2K seemed kind of crazy to me... as I''ve seen a number in the sequence... But, weird I haven''t really seen him on Kite cels, it must be that we have different tastes because generally when I lose a high end Kite set-up there''s another bidder that gets me but, now I''ll know to watch carefully for the evils of Ziggy...
Awww....sorry to hear you got outbid. Here''s hoping Ziggy suffers major buyer''s regret, or his computer crashes the next time you find something you like. Something better is always bound to come up....
Just think of what would happen if I put up my 2 Yasuomi Umestsu beauties. My Mezzo Momomi...and my KITE Sawa. Just THINK of how high those would go with Ziggy. Don''t worry...I''d never do it...Jon would find me and bury me 6 feet under...LOL! But...Seriously...If I needed a new car, or to pay off ALL of my debt instantly...All I''d have t odo is put up ONE of them for auction with a reserve...I bet he''d meet it. This person is nuts. I''d love ot contact the sellers of auctions he''s won, and bribe the seller to give me his shipping info and name. It''s got to be a private japanese buyer. I have never seen the cels up anywhere. Shoot...It could be Umetsu himself buying the stuff back O_o! Whoever it is has deep pockets...And it PISSES ME OFF I can''t see the beauties up anywhere. That''s the worst fucking part about the whole ziggystardust thing ;_;!
