Early Memories

I just replied to a old post from 2016, so thought I would share with anyone who is still using Rubberslug:

Being in the UK, early memories were of saving up 'spending money' to go visit Forbidden Planet in London, Soho. Inside the store was a small alcove wall section of Manga Entertainment Videos and Anime. I'm remember looking in awe at the mad crazy graphic artwork on the cover sleeves and spines, trying to decide which Mangas to buy with my precious funds. The first purchase was Vampire Hunter D (the original), Urotsukidoji and Wicked City - what a combo! The next weekend it would be Doomed Megalopolis, the next Dominion Tank Police (that Puma twins cover!)... Great days.
