Sen to Chihiro

Well, I recently bought my "Sen to Chihiro" DVD and have been putting it through the paces on my ultra-thin anc compact portable DVD player with 8"inch screen..then I showed it to my family connecting it up to the TV. Miyazaki does it again..marvelous film..

"Gunnm" (Battle Angel) I never get enough, pop in the VHS and get some pop-corn, since I haven't found a DVD region 2, or even an all-region pirate copy yet that I can play on my made in Japan DVD player. I did buy what I thought was a region 2 DVD from France's Amazon.com site, but it still wouldn't play. I had already a region 1 disk that I played when I traveled to the USA at my friends house. So, here I am in Japan, the birthplace of this show, and I cannot find a DVD! I even contacted the distributor and they don't have any region 2 dvd's! I search all over the Internet,,zilch!
The only thing that I could come up with here are the Laser Disks (I have those too, but no player :() HELP!!!
Anybody got a DVD burner out there?!
