RS Shop Rules

It has come to my attention that some have been having a few problems with transactions in the RS Shop.
Most can be remedied by following a few common sense rules.

1. If you find a cel in the shop you are interested in , contact the seller and get any questions answered BEFORE you put it on Hold.
Please do not assume you can set up such items as Payment Plans , Trades or other items after the fact. Also you may request a more High Rez Scan of the cel to be more certain of it's condition.

2. Once you put a cel on Hold , you have made the Commitment to Purchase the cel at the Price Listed. There is no backing out of a deal without the approval of the Seller. We all know sometimes unexpected things happen and Most Sellers will be understanding if you let them know quickly.

3. COMMUNICATE. All have access to the feedback links on RS as well as email. USE THEM! Nothing causes more misunderstandings that lack of communication. This goes both ways between Buyer & Seller.

4. Accountability. If you say you will send payment by a certain date, Do So. If you tell a Buyer you will ship at a certain date, Do So.

5. Save all communication , don't delete emails till the transaction is complete. A Mod will need to see such if for some reason a transaction has a bad enough problem that requires them to get involved.

We all want the RS Shop to be a place that we all feel safe to use. Most problems occur when these simple rules are not followed. If one ever does have a problem they are to contact one of the Mod's who will conduct a investigation and then take what ever actions are needed.

Good post Joe, and a very good idea to explain the rules like this.

Now if only you could post these on the shop's main page itself ^^
