Help...Plaese

I have come to consult the experts.....In other words HELP!!!!

The problem is, recently I bought some Yu-Gi-Oh! sketches and after taking them out of the bag they were in I was horrified to note the odour of stale cigerette smoke. Basically What I want to know is - is there a way of either reducing or removing the smell altogether or am I stuck with them as they are??
Any info would be real helpful

Thanks in advance

I have a suggestion, but I have only used this method with a set of very old sketches that had a rather "musty/moldy" smell to them.

I separated the sketches, and then placed a new sheet of acid free (archival) paper in front of and behind each sketch. Then I let them lay flat apart from one another for a few weeks.

It didn't eliminate the odor completely, but it did seem to reduce it somewhat. Again, I'm not sure if this would help with cigarette smoke issues.

Good luck!

I'd have to agree with YAM--the only thing I can think of is to air them out for a while. It doesn't surprise me, really. Smoking is not as looked down on in Japan as in the US.
